By accessing or using the Clarity AI mobile application and website (the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Service.

Clarity AI is a health and wellness application that uses artificial intelligence to analyse food, supplement, and beauty products. The Service provides:
- Product scanning and barcode recognition
- AI-powered health scores and nutritional analysis
- Personalised Health Coach insights
- Product search across our database of 900,000+ products
- Tracking and insights dashboards
3. User Accounts
To access certain features of the Service, you may need to create an account. You are responsible for:
- Maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials
- All activities that occur under your account
- Providing accurate and up-to-date information
- Notifying us immediately of any unauthorised use
4. Health Disclaimer
Important: Clarity AI is designed for informational purposes only. The Service does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Product scores, Health Coach tips, and nutritional analysis should not be used as a substitute for professional medical advice.
Always consult a qualified healthcare provider before making significant changes to your diet or health routine. If you have food allergies, intolerances, or medical conditions, rely on your healthcare provider's guidance.
5. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
- Attempt to gain unauthorised access to the Service or its systems
- Interfere with or disrupt the Service's infrastructure
- Reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble any aspect of the Service
- Use automated systems (bots, scrapers) to access the Service
- Reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from the Service
6. Intellectual Property
All content, features, and functionality of the Service — including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, icons, images, AI models, and software — are the exclusive property of Clarity AI and are protected by intellectual property laws.
The Clarity AI name, logo, and all related names, logos, product and service names, designs, and slogans are trademarks of Clarity AI. You may not use these marks without our prior written permission.
7. AI-Generated Content
Clarity AI uses artificial intelligence to generate product scores, health insights, and recommendations. While we strive for accuracy:
- AI-generated content may occasionally contain inaccuracies
- Product data relies on manufacturer-provided information
- Scores and recommendations are algorithmically generated and should be used as guidance, not absolute fact
- We continuously improve our AI models but cannot guarantee perfection
8. Subscriptions & Payments
Certain features of the Service may require a paid subscription. Subscription terms, pricing, and billing are managed through the Apple App Store. By subscribing, you agree to Apple's terms and payment policies.
Refunds are subject to Apple's refund policy and are processed through the App Store.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Clarity AI shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising from your use of or inability to use the Service.
Our total liability for any claims arising from the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid to us in the twelve (12) months prior to the claim.
10. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Clarity AI and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses arising from your use of the Service or violation of these Terms.
11. Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, without notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms or is harmful to other users, us, or third parties.
12. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales, without regard to conflict of law principles.
13. Changes to Terms
We may revise these Terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated Terms on this page. Your continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
